Where five thousand colonists gathered on December 16, 1773, and Samuel Adams gave the signal that launched the Boston Tea Party. On my second visit the exhibits had changed — one installation, a woman in a mask (women weren't allowed to speak here originally), echoed "I can't breathe" in a way that really landed. Stop 8 on the Freedom Trail.
